Boarding
Going on vacation? Why not treat your dog to one as well? Our friendly and attentive team will do everything possible to ensure Lucky Dog feels like a home away from home for your pup. Whether you need to board your dog for an overnight stay, for the weekend, a holiday or extended care, your dog will spend their days enjoying supervised open play with their BFFFs (Best Furry Friends Forever), and their nights enjoying restful sleep.
Long And Short Term Boarding
Dogs boarding with us will enjoy a staycation, burning off any excess energy during a full day of play with our daycare dogs. Dogs are separated into supervised areas depending on size, play style and temperament, ensuring the comfort and safety of all our guests.
There will also be plenty of time for naps and breaks, should they require them. This private time is also when we administer any medications, if applicable. Similar to children in a daycare, dogs tend to easily adapt to the nap time routine as it’s at the same time each day and all their friends are enjoying the, often much-needed, down time as well! The staff also thoroughly clean each play areas and Kennels through out the day to ensure everything is safe and clean before another exciting round of afternoon play.
Prepare Your Dog
Our boarding facilities are fully equipped to handle dogs of all shapes and sizes. If you fell your dog would benefit from a visit before their boarding please talk to us about booking a Daycare visit. We find most dogs settle in well within the first day.
What To Bring
We care about your dog’s safety and comfort. We encourage you to bring your pup’s own food if they are on a prescription or Raw diet. You may consider bringing a little extra food for boarding as they burn a lot more calories in play than they typically do at home! If you forget your food for meals – no worries! We have in-house food for your convenience.
During their boarding stay, your dog will be fed at approximately 8 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., with a treat or lunch at nap time if you request. Food will be served and prepared exactly as requested by each pet parent. We’ll accommodate any special dietary needs your pup may have, and won’t charge extra for feeding or administering medication.
We recommend to bring a easy to wash blanket that smells like home/ mum and dad so your dog has a familiar smell for their first couple of nights.
We have plenty of extra bedding and stretcher beds to make you’re dog feel at home.
